  1. Wouldn't it be great to be able to go back in time and walk down Tryon in 1955?

    Love the Ivey's sign on the left-side of photo.

  2. It would have been cool to see downtown Charlotte in full commercial bloom.

    The desolation of the street shown in the picture from two decades later is very telling.
