  1. This is now all gone and (as of next month) will have a swanky Target and a Home Depot Design Center in its place. The theatre sat empty for decades and the mall (I believe it was the Carolina's first enclosed mall) was on the skids for years.

  2. This was definitely the first enclosed mall in the Carolinas, and it will be sorely missed, though its recent past wasn't as glorious as the beginning.

    It'll be nice to see the site in bloom again.
